Anniversary lunch

With our 14th anniversary being on Tuesday we decided to rather have a celebratory lunch today.

The girls were excited about having time to visit with the Love family and we tried out Pukeko Junction for the first time. The food was really good - I know why it was recommended. We had a lovely time and could not believe how quickly 2 hours passed.

So although we would have enjoyed sitting and chatting even longer we headed back to pick up the girls as they had been invited to Violet's birthday party this afternoon.

And one more photo from this morning. Rachel took this of Brendon with Patches having a ride on his shoulder. He never knows when Rachel is going to actually take the photo (so no smile - rather a look of "does she know how to take a photo?"). Rachel thought it was just so funny the way Patches sat there while Brendon went to fetch wood and wanted to capture it.
