2004 - Part 1

January - Pastors Conference at Mount Grace - such a spoil.
Natal coast
Outside Polokwane - Limpopo Province.
A Bumble Bee when I turned Three

There is an envelope on this page in which are the special cards Rachel received. From London, Scottburgh and Pretoria.

Rachel ended up having 3 parties when she turned 3. She had 2 when she turned 2 so this pattern had better stop. :-)

2004 - Part 2

The Lion Park was a part of the Ranch Hotel which was on the farm over the road from Mockford Farms were we lived.
What an experience.
Two sisters to keep Chelsea company. Chelsea was so funny hiding between my legs the day we brought them home.
They brought us so much joy. Nothing like tiny puppies.
So special to remember the wonderful evening Glen and Antje spoilt us with.
Mabula is always such a treat.

2004 - Part 3

Grandpa was always willing to play games with Rachel. Here he is in a "ship" (or upside down chair). They also took us to the local game reserve which we had never been to before. It's a bad photo, but that top right one is of a big herd of buffalo. We also had a great time at the hippo lookout.
Brendon's parents had been to see "The Phantom of the Opera" at the State Theatre and said that it was so good they wanted us to get to see it too. So they bought tickets for us for our next visit to Pretoria. What a treat.
On every Pretoria visit Rachel would join Nana in walking to the shops and she would ALWAYS get a ride on whatever toy they had there.

2004 - Part 4

Rachel asked so many questions about the State Theater when we went to see The Phantom of the Opera that Nana and Grandpa organized to take the whole family to the Cinderella Pantomime in December. Rachel was so very excited about going to the theatre and it was a very good show.
