Although it did not rain today it was still wet and cold outside and so we had another quiet day indoors. I made cottage pie for dinner. Something I have not done in many many years. I think most of the time I would just dish up the mash with the meat and not bother with the oven part. It's been a while since we have even had mash and mince though - so it really was enjoyed. There was enough mince for two meals so that's another freezer meal done. Great to have a dozen meals stocked up.
Rachel is busy with her first dress. The last two nights she has spent time with pinning the pattern and cutting out (rather than the extra reading she normally does). She just has 2 more pieces to cut out and she is very excited about starting to sew.
