Scanning time

To thank Bob and Lynn for looking after the girls yesterday we took them a fresh loaf of bread for lunch today. They were busy the whole morning with scanning, so it was a good opportunity for us to see how it works. The dog help get them going where they need to go.
Waiting patiently.
Along here.
And up into the scanning trailer and out the other side.
This is what it looks like inside (without the operator). He drafts (separates) the dry ewes (those that are not pregnant) and then marks those who have a single lamb, double or triple with different colours. In this way Bob is able to keep the different groups together so that those with twins or triplets can get more food.
Rachel spent a few hours here this morning and chatted away, learning as much as she could.
Hannah just loves animals and kept wanting to go back for another ride.
And Rachel will always find something to play on.
