Wood and Apples

Brendon has been filling up our wood shed (and beyond) for the winter.
This is the view from behind the shed.
It feels good to know we have a nice supply of wood. We already had the fire lit a few times while his parents were here (in MARCH!!!!). So it may be a very cold winter....
March is the time of year to look for apples on all the wild apple trees around our home. Well, this year is a real bumper crop. There are soooo many apples. We picked a few today and Rachel had a go at dehydrating some. They worked really well and she plans to take them to Brownies on Thursday for them to have a taste (it's also a part of a badge she is busy with).
