Now before any of you real gardeners say anything - we know we should have left the potatoes in the ground longer (take them out just before the first frost) and that we should NOT have washed them (they keep longer with that little bit of sand on them). BUT it's done. We have learnt and will do things differently next year, but for now we were really impressed with our first crop of potatoes.

Loads of Potatoes
Now before any of you real gardeners say anything - we know we should have left the potatoes in the ground longer (take them out just before the first frost) and that we should NOT have washed them (they keep longer with that little bit of sand on them). That is an amazing crop!! Well done, you must be so thrilled with growing your very own produce. We could sure do with those on our island!
