Fish, funny faces and more

I am enjoying getting time each day to read to Ruth. We started with simple "Puddle Lane" books that we have that are really short. But after just a couple of days Ruth said she wanted me to read her "Noddy". We have a nice selection of Noddy books. They were Brendon's older brother and sisters, so they are a good 30 years old already. They are quite long stories but she is enjoying them. Her favorite part is the bell on Noddy's head. Whenever we read about it she will start singing "Jingle Bells".

The girls enjoyed watching this tractor type vehicle cut the hedges today.
He did the front of our house as well. Boy does it look so much better.
Ruth has decided that she wants to set the table for dinner each day. She is such a good little helper. The other day I was going to put the washing on and Ruth said "Ruth help with washing. I LOVE helping Mommy."
Yes, funny face. You already make Mommy giggle.
Ruth enjoys wearing Dad's cap. And she looks really good in it too.
We had a lovely fish BBQ today. I got some fresh fish yesterday and so we are enjoying "trying new things". These soles in a lemon and garlic sauce were very successful and I am sure we will be having more of them. Brendon was a bit nervous about fish (he hates getting bones), but he really enjoyed it.
