This must be the first summer where the grass has needed to be cut. There has been far more rain than normal and it's been wonderful to have a bit more green in the garden. This section seems to grow much quicker than the rest though.
This morning Rachel got to making pasta for tonight's dinner. She was excited about using the ribbon cutter and so I suggested she make the pieces a bit thicker. I don't think it was such a wise idea though - it was a bit too thick for my liking.
We had organized for Steve and Josie (with their youngest two children) to come for dinner so that we could have time before and after to chat through the final things involved in starting up a bible study / church plant in the area. We had a lovely time of fellowship and we look forward to seeing what the Lord has planned.
