John 3:14-16 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; that whoever believes may in Him have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
Numbers 21:7-8 "So the people came to Moses and said, 'We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and you; intercede with the Lord, that He may remove the serpents from us.' And Moses interceded for the people. Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he shall live.'"
The girls enjoyed making their own salt dough serpents. I was really impressed that within seconds of getting her dough Hannah was calling me over to look at her snake.

Rachel is supposed to sort out her desk every week. Today I checked on it and decided the best way to explain again to her how I would like to see her desk was to empty it out completely and then put back what actually needed to be there. So this was all the other stuff that she needed to sort through and find homes for (the dustbin being on of the options :-)).
Since yesterday Rachel has been getting her camp things ready. This afternoon we started packing and she really enjoyed ticking everything off her list. She is very excited.
She will be traveling with Danielle and her mother who is also staying for the camp. Please notice her new book bag. I took her to the library this afternoon to "check in" for the holiday reading club and after her narration she got this bag as a reward. She also picked up a few extra books while we were there so took 4 new ones with her. The camp is over an hour away - so you can see Danielle has her book ready too.
The younger girls came with to drop Rachel off. I think they will both miss her.
