Journey to Bethlehem

"And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, in order to register, along with Mary, who was engaged to him and was with child." Luke 2:4-5
"But as for you, Bethlehem, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity." Micah 5:2
Hannah wet the first dress she had on today and when Rachel changed her she came through very proudly saying "look - they match". I had not even realized we had two dresses that were almost exactly the same.
We headed to the local shot to get some condensed milk for fudge and dropped off some biscuits / Christmas cards for the ladies that work there. They were so very thankful and the girls enjoyed giving the little gifts themselves.
These two often stand on the tower together. Here they are enjoying some lunch.
Finally I got a nice photo of the two of them without any funny faces. :-)
Brendon got the replacement blade for the lawnmower and put it on this afternoon. It was great to have it working again. We look forward to giving the lawn a nice short cut soon.
The girls were very excited because Bob and Lynn (our old neighbours) had organized to come for a visit this afternoon. So they sat in the garden playing and watching down the drive for them.
They were blessed with lovely presents and we had a lovely 2 hour visit with them. Hannah was very excited to see Bob and remind us all about her ride on his tractor.

Hannah's hair has gotten really long, so Lynn had said she would bring her scissors with and give her a trim (as well as Rachel and myself). I will have to get an "after" shot tomorrow.
