Christmas Eve

We visited one of the local churches for their Christmas Eve service. Rachel was very excited as we had heard that there would be a "real donkey" in the church.

It was great to have the focus of the service on the fact that we are remembering the birth of Jesus Christ, who came to the world to die on the cross for our sins.

There were many children there and it was great for Rachel to recognize some of the girls from brownies.

Rachel loves anything that even remotely looks like a horse.

Trust her to get to sit on his back.

We have a beautiful tree and so many presents. It is a special time of year as we remember what Christ has done for us. The greatest gift of all.
