Matthew 1:1 "The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham" vs16 "and to Jacob was born Joseph the husband of Mary, by whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ" vs 17 "Therefore all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the deportation to Babylon to the time of Christ fourteen generations."
Jeremiah 23:5 "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I shall raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land."
Enjoying morning tea when Dad got home from work. Hannah loves Ruth so much and will often follow her and sit next to her.
During nap time Dad headed to town to collect the new mattresses and Rachel got started on Hannah's apron. Learning to pin a pattern piece, cut it out, sewing again,
and finishing it off. A very simple pattern but I think the girls are going to love them. Rachel did a great job. I was amazed we got one finished in one day. Once the girls were up from their nap I took the cot apart (so that I could get it out the room) and built the 2nd bunk bed. Hannah was so excited about her new bed that she spent quite a bit of time playing there this afternoon. Let's hope the night goes well.
