Cold and cough

Ruth had a very high temperature on Thursday but thankfully that cleared very quickly and she seemed fine by the evening. On Friday however the nose started running and she had a cold over the weekend. Monday night the coughing started but I am so thankful to the Lord that after giving her cough mixture at 10pm and praying for her the coughing stopped immediately and she had a good sleep from then until 4am. Only then did the coughing start again. After more cough mixture and much prayer the coughing had stopped although she just lay quietly with me till 5:30 (in the camping cot next to our bed). I got up at that point and she finally went back to sleep. She only woke up at 10am. I am glad she got that extra rest.
