The girls got dressed
supa-quick this morning so that they could get to see their
Resurrection cookies (no time to even brush hair for Rachel). First Mom spoke about how in the morning the tomb was open and it was empty -
JESUS had RISEN!!!!!!!
So we headed over to
open our "tomb".
Ruth was
so excited.....

And they were a complete success because they were
hollow (as they are supposed to be) representing the empty tomb. And they
tasted good too (even for Rachel who does not generally like nuts).

Then it was time to
hunt for Easter Eggs (Grandpa and Nana had given money for these special treats). Hannah did a very good job of finding them and while the girls were eating their
Resurrection cookies she got started. So they quickly joined her (and we did not even think of taking photos)
Here is
Hannah enjoying some chocolate - even before breakfast :-)

We had church and then headed over to
Brian and Julia for lunch. We left a little early so that the girls could have some extra time at the
park. It was such a beautiful day...
Here is Rachel on her first slide down this HUGE slide. She has generally been quite nervous about going down slides and so we are really proud of her overcoming that fear. She loves it now....

Ruth has gotten more and more confident on the
"flying fox". So Dad pulls her quite high now. Rachel starts from the platform and they race down. This is
definitely the highlight for Rachel. She loves the flying fox. You can see Hannah having a ball on the bottom of the slide.
