New Chooks

The girls were very excited about our new chooks arriving today. Seven of them. Although only one has started laying. They are young birds but should all be laying within the next couple of weeks.

We took the opportunity to clip their wings. It was suggested we leave them in the hen house till tomorrow so that they get used to it.

Then Brendon got started on the TV Cabinet and we realized after doing one test that the hinges we had bought were the wrong ones. So we made a last minute decision to head into town to get the proper hinges. It's a long way to go - so we made it worth the girls while and we went to Willowbank after getting the shopping done.
