Making icing flowers

Hannah had so much fun today making the icing flowers for her cake. She decided on pink and purple. I forgot to take a photo but we also bought this little round holders which you use when drying the flowers out so that they have a bit of a curve. We only have 3 each of the two sizes but found that our egg cups worked well for the middle sized flowers too. My big job today was making the letters of her name. It's slow careful work but it was nice to do it for her and they are all so excited about the end result.
