Big Brass Band

We picked Rachel up from camp this morning, went to church, had lunch at church and then headed over to watch the Big Brass Band. Christchurch has many things organized through the holidays for the children and so it was nice to get to enjoy one of the activities while we were in town. This was the Junior band. There were a lot of children but it's junior in that they are all new at playing.
The girls had a wonderful time.
The second group to perform were more experienced and we learnt a lot from their interactive performance. Rachel's favorite was the "Colosseum" which reminded her of her Ancient Rome study. It was lovely to hear all the different types of music they performed.
