Lake Rotorua

The girls had a nap on the way back to town so we stopped at Lake Rotorua for afternoon tea. It was a real treat to see two float planes take off. We had a look at the cost and it is just so incredibly expensive. For a 6 min flight you pay $75 per person (and that includes infants). So we contented ourselves with just watching.
Fun for the girls to see a helicopter taking off too.
What we could afford though was hiring a paddle boat. Again their was so much excitement.
One of those simple things that cost only a little bit of money and 20 minutes but create memories for a live time.
All the ducks and swans we had to paddle through on our way back.
And the bonus was that she took a photo of the whole family before we got out. :-)
