I am trying to show Ruth the different note lengths but most of the time she does not even have to look a the music because she knows the first 11 songs off by heart already. She is learning some music reading though as she had another book and showed me a "rest" in the music. She is only 3 1/2 years old - so I am impressed with what she can already do. Her little fingers and hands are still so little.
