King David's Righteous Branch

Acts 13:22-23 "And after He had removed him (Saul), He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will." From the offspring of this man, according to promise, God has brought to Israel a Saviour, Jesus."
And that promise is mentioned in Jeremiah 23: 5 "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, When I shall raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, The Lord our righteousness."
The girls asked to go do some weeding in this flower box but it did not last long. It was really windy out there this morning. And our grass is getting long because the blade on our lawnmower is bent. So hopefully we can get that fixed soon and get the place looking tidy again.
Listening to the Word and Song Bible. Hannah showing one of her monster faces. :D
Brendon got another of his headaches last weekend so although they only happen every month or two he has decided to cut coffee out to find out if that is perhaps the cause. So as he is drinking more tea I decided to buy some Early Grey as a special treat. It's been years since we last had Early Grey in the house. It is one of our favorite.
I left just before 1 to meet Rachel at the Ballet practice in town at 2. She got a lift from Brownie camp to the practice and once the practice was over we headed to MacDonald's for an early dinner. Rachel loved their Frozen Raspberry Fanta and kept saying how much of a spoil it was as she ate her chicken wrap.
We did a little bit of shopping and then headed back to the hall. We were back by 5:30 so still had loads of time. I read to Rachel for a while and then others started arriving and makeup started happening.
Looking so beautiful.
Finding a quiet spot to read. It was really busy with everyone getting dressed and ready.
Excitement builds as everyone is ready and it's almost time for the show to start.
Rachel did really well and thoroughly enjoyed her evening.
I then took her back to the Brownie camp (arriving at 10 with everyone already in bed) and headed home (arriving at 11:30 and very thankful to have had a safe trip back).
