Best Fudge

2 cups sugar
125g butter or margarine
1 tin condensed milk
.
Put the ingredients in a deep microwave bowl, cook on high for 2 minutes. Stir.
Cook on high for 5 minutes (watch as it may start boiling up). Stir.
Cook on high for another 5 minutes (watch very carefully as it may boil up very often). Stir well.
Poor into dish and cut when slightly set. Leave to set completely.
.
This is a recipe my brother and I knew off heart in Primary school as it was the favorite thing to make for any fund raiser or party. I am sure if you had to ask Craig now how to make fudge he would be able to give you the instructions. We made it so many times. :-)
.
For a Christmas change I added 1 tsp almond essence (thanks Fiona for the suggestion) and the girls asked that i cut it in star shapes. They don't mind having all the funny shapes that are left.

Just to say this is a fantastic fudge recipe, tastes just like it has been made on the stove!!!(which is unusual for a microwave recipe)
