The girls also stayed up to watch The Sound of Music with us. Grandpa and Nana had taken the whole family to see it at the State Theatre in Pretoria a number of years back, so it was really nice for Rachel to see the movie now. It started at 7:30 but only finished at 10:40. So it was a very late night for them. We thought Ruth would fall asleep, but she stayed up and enjoyed all the music too. So it was a special day, even though we did not stay up till midnight.
Goodbye 2008.
Through the year we have seen God's goodness to us over and over again. What a wonderful God we serve.
