Brian made Rachel these lovely "planter boxes" and Julia gave her 8 lovely strawberry plants. They are doing
sooooo well.
Rachel was also given 6
lettuce plants. Which are also doing really well. Rachel loves makings (and eating) salad as she can pick
lettuce that she has grown herself.
We dried and planted some pumpkin seeds which have started to come up. Soon we will get to weeding (just want to give the seeds enough time). Then we need to get some place cleared in the garden. Pumpkin do need quite a bit of space but it was nice to get the seeds started here while the ground is still a bit cold.
Our patio vegetable garden. What has worked really well is that they are "right there" so that Rachel sees them every day. Not "out of sight out of mind".
