We had a lovely end to the day with a family from our church (in Christchurch). We stayed over at their home and so we could bring all the extra party food to enjoy with them. You would think that a table that seats 14 would be big enough, but 3 of the group had to sit elsewhere. What a wonderful "Happy Birthday" she got sung for her with all those voices.
Her face just lit up with surprise when she saw some presents come out. "Open please" was her immediate response.
What a lovely end to a very special day.On Sunday after church she was starting to get tiered when it was suggested that we sing "Happy Birthday" to her. Well, what a change. Her face just lit up with such a big smile. She really has had a lovely 2nd birthday.
